I tried to crochet a Rilakkuma (Lazy Bear), a super adorable San-X character. The only real pattern for him was in this adorable, but pricey Japanese craft book, so I had to improvise. It's not exactly the same, but I came pretty close. My son fell in love with him, so I'm happy with it. :)

For my first purse, I definitely aimed high. Pleats are so difficult! Then again, maybe I didn't do it the proper, easier way. Happy Birthday Hunny! My daughter drew a monster for her daddy's birthday while he was on a business trip. I love aprons! I have about 10 of them from swaps. I called the first one I ever received my "magic apron," because it mysteriously made me want to cook and clean. I had some leftover fabric, so i decided to give it a shot. Nitting Ninja hasn't really been knitting a whole lot since moving to Florida. It's hard to get motivated enough to invest so much time into knitting something the weather won't allow me to wear. Here is my first FO from knitty.com's winter issue, Quant. It's a panta (knitted head warmer) done in an entreloc pattern. I used a %100 peruvian wool hand-dyed by a craftster named xladyluckx.
