Warning: Long Boring Intro I crocheted a clutch by accident last weekend, and don't know what to do with it. It all started when I picked up a hook and started crocheting. I didn't know what I was making, I just needed to keep my hands busy. Then I noticed what I was hooking started to resemble a flower, so that's what I called it. It looked kind of bad, so I made a smaller layer to go on top of it. It still looked bad, so I sewed one of those Japanese flower thingies as a 3rd layer. Well, there was still a hole in the middle, and that's where the button came in. Now what to do with the flower? I didn't make a hat since winter is almost over, so I decided to put it aside.
On to my next random project: I started with a chain and just kept crocheting row after row. I wanted practice, so I half double crocheted the cream rows and ribbed the pink rows. That's when I decided to make it into a clutch. I didn't really like how it was turning out. The colors I used (trying to de-stash) made my clutch look like uncooked bacon. So I figured I'd put the flower on there so It wouldn't look like brakfast. After that was done, I went to store, bought some fabric and wallah:
