Shrinky Dinks! Where have you been all my life! I'm obsessed! I started out using Shrinkies for injet printers b/c I didn't have permanent markers yet. Here's what I made so far:
(Ana, if you're reading this, do not scroll down if you want your package to be a surprise.)
some necklaces and charms for me:
stuff I'm selling:
a keychain for the hubby:
and finally, some goodies for my SIL:

Indigo Ripples Skirt
I finally finished this damn skirt. It was my first time working a lace pattern, therefore are a ton of mistakes. I've learned that I do not like knitting lace. I didn't know I was making mistakes until about 10 rows later, and there was no way I was going to rip it and start over! I got really frustrated and put my needles down for about 3 weeks. Finally I just made myself finish it so I could move on to the next project requiring the needles this skirt was on. So without further ado:
All in all, I really like this skirt, but would never knit it again. It's really comfortable and airy. I wore it out yesterday in 90 degree weather and felt fine in it.
details:
Pattern: Indigo Ripples Skirt from Interweave Knits Spring 2007
yarn: Brown Sheep cotton fleece
needles: Addi Turbo US 6 24"
